Our Community

At Erb's, we believe that without the support of our community and local businesses we wouldn't be where we are today. We take great pride in making every effort to give back and believe strongly in supporting local businesses in far greater ways than our technology solutions.

We take a very active role in the community. Thankfully over the years we have been grateful enough to be able to give back in a number of ways, especially after the many adversities our communities, neighbors and friends have faced in years past.

Our Doors Are Always Open

In 2008, Erb's took a very dynamic role in the Cedar Rapids Flood Recovery efforts by not only volunteering our time and resources to help evacuate the downtown community but by also opening our doors to local businesses that needed a temporary worksite to call home. Businesses of all sizes affected by the raging waters of downtown worked side-by-side us until we were able to assist them in getting back on their feet and into their new buildings.

Erb's was also able to donate in excess of $7000 to the Greater Community of Cedar Rapids.

You Make Us Look Good

Which is exactly why in 2007 Erb's teamed up with The Chamber to return the favor by pioneering the Extreme Technology Makeover. After an impressive turn-out and overwhelming interest in our ETM at our annual Open House, we put our heads together to determine the most deserving applicant. White Glove Movers of Hiawatha were the recipients of our generous $35,000 makeover and welcomed into their new business center:

...That's not all

We are annual United Way supporters, offering a substantial contribution after a two week campaign effort; sponsor a number of "For the Cause" events including "Rally for the Cure" and the Annual Cooksley Benefit which we spearheaded in 2010; and are participants in a number of organizations and boards both as a company and on an individual basis.
